Tubex Nature™ Easysleeve
Nature Nature™ Easysleeves are our economic growth and protection solution for the initial establishment period. They are fully biodegradable, making them ideal for hedgeplanting where removal at end of life may be difficult or collection isn’t possible.
Our biodegradable shelters are expected to last for 3 years with the classic Tubex twin wall shelter design, boosting the chances of survival and healthy growth through the first initial stages of the tree’s life. Nature Easysleeves’ smaller diameters make them suitable for small slender plants used in hedging and small scale landscaping.
Product Benefits
Biodegradable tree shelter for enhanced growth and protection
Made from bio-based materials derived from starch, plant and vegetable sources. Externally tested against ISO 17556 to show soil biodegradability, and independently tested to show biodegradation both on soil and in soil at ambient temperatures. Over time, they will breakdown into water and CO2 through a microbiological process.
Externally tested against OECD 207 & 208.
Robust twin-walled construction to provide enhanced growth through a microclimate. Expected to perform for 3 years whilst offering protection against browsing animals.
Simply placed over the plant and a supporting bamboo cane.
*Tubex Nature Easysleeves are not suitable for large exposed sites where a Tubex Nature Standard shelter fixed to a wooden stake with a released zip tie is recommended.
