The wrap allows for the incorporation of a tutor rod that trains the plants to grow up to the first trellis wire, and which can be re-used multiple times. It ensures that the tube remains stable and does not move around the plant or blow away in strong winds.

Our twin-walled wraps provide an enhanced microclimate that leads to improved growth and survival rates and allows for earlier harvesting. The durable twin-wall construction offers the best possible strength-to-weight ratio, and the additional slots allow for the insertion of a tutor rod or cane, providing more rigidity and stability.

Robust twin-walled construction provides a minimum of 4 years of service life, offering protection against small animals (such as voles, hares and rabbits), herbicide spraying, and mechanical operations.

The vertical slit of our wraps allows for the tubes to be quickly opened for doing maintenance tasks on the plants. Thanks to their strength and flexibility, the tubes can stay open, leaving one hand free to work on the plants until they are manually closed. Maintenance can take about 10-15 seconds, which reduces labour costs by 50% when compared with other tubes.
