The vertical slit of the wrap allows for the tube to be opened for a faster inspection and weed control, speeding up the process and saving maintenance hours. The tube naturally guides the vines to grow upwards towards the cordon wire, reducing side shoots and the amount of pruning needed. Thanks to its robust structure and long lifetime there’s no need for multiple shelter’s renewals, as it can be the case with shelters made of cardboard or paper.

Our twin-walled wraps provide an enhanced microclimate that leads to improved growth and survival rates and allows for earlier harvesting. The durable twin-wall construction offers the best possible strength-to-weight ratio, and the additional slots allow for the insertion of a tutor rod or cane, providing more rigidity and stability.

The robust twin-walled construction provides a minimum of 4 years’ service life, offering protection against small animals (such as voles, hares and rabbits), herbicides and mechanical operations.
