Tubex is the leading tree shelter brand, with nearly 50 years of experience in advancing growth.
Advancing growth since the 1980s
Tubex has always been a trailblazer in the tree protection industry. Back in 1985 Tubex invented the original tree shelter, producing the first PP twin walled tube, and over the next few years launched the unique features that characterise Tubex shelters to help establish young saplings – the Tubex flared top, laser line and re-release zip ties.
In 2005, Tubex introduced the industry’s first tree shelter collection and recycling scheme. Unfortunately, the initiative faced challenges in its progress due to limited awareness and uptake. However, only a couple decades later we would succeed in launching the Tubex tree shelter collection and recycling scheme nationwide free of cost, and expand our efforts into Europe as part of our environmental efforts.
In recent years, we have achieved significant sustainability milestones, such as the implementation of recycled content in our recyclable range since 2010s, currently at an average of 35%. Our latest achievement was the launch of the Tubex Nature biodegradable range in 2021.
As we continue to serve the forestry, landscaping, viticulture, and fruit markets globally with the most comprehensive plant protection portfolio, our commitment to pioneering innovation and sustainability remains steadfast so we can continue advancing growth for our planet.
