Tubex Nature™ Standard
Tubex Nature™ Standard is our most popular biodegradable twin walled tree shelter to protect growing trees from wildlife damage while supporting tree growth, designed for hard-to-reach areas where collection isn’t possible.
Incorporating all the proven Tubex features, Nature Standard increases the chances of survival and healthy growth through the early stages of the tree’s life, allowing planting of smaller, cheaper trees. It provides a microclimate which aids strong root and stem growth, while offering protection against animal browsing, herbicides and weeding. Our Tubex Nature range has an estimated lifetime of 3 years without compromising its biodegradability.

Biodegradable tree shelter for enhanced growth and protection
Our twin-walled wraps provide an improved microclimate compared to single-wall spirals, leading to improved growth and survival rates. The durable twin-wall construction offers the best possible strength-to-weight ratio, offering more ridigity and stability than spirals.
Tubex Nature™ is made from bio-based materials derived from starch, plant and vegetable sources. It is externally tested against ISO 17556 to show soil biodegradability, and independently tested to show biodegradation on soil at ambient temperatures.
Tubex Nature products can be left to biodegrade in situ and will, over time, start to degrade and breakdown into water and CO2 through a microbiological process.
Externally tested against OECD 207 & 208.
Robust twin-walled construction tested to perform with an estimated 3 years service life, offering protection against browsing animals, whilst providing excellent light transmission to facilitate growth.
Includes pre-fitted re-release ties, and tubes come nested for efficient transportation, storage and management on site, whilst maintaining original shape. Biodegradable zip ties are available upon request.
